<p>A cartridge (4) for an intraocular implant (48) consists of a loading chamber (32) and an injection chamber (30) communicating in a proximal portion of the cartridge (4). The cartridge (4) further includes a piston chamber (50) which has a zone (54) for communication with the loading chamber (32) in a distal portion of the cartridge (4). The piston chamber (50) contains a piston provided with an actuation end (56) arranged to penetrate the loading chamber (32) and to urge an intraocular implant (48) located in the loading chamber (32) through the injection chamber (30). An intraocular implant injector including such a cartridge is also described.</p>
