<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distinctly present to a user information indicating whether contents of a data broadcast are current contents or contents recorded in the past when a data broadcast picture begins to be displayed during viewing of a television program. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiving, recording and reproducing device has a date/time information analytic processing unit 9 which analyzes date/time information included in a transport stream from a tuner during viewing of a television program being broadcast at present or a transport stream during viewing a video-recorded program from a recording medium, and also has a video output composing unit 12 which puts together the data and time information of the television program being viewed or the video-recorded program found by the date/time information analytic processing unit 9, video data from a video processing unit 7, and a data broadcast part from a data broadcast processing unit 8. When a display indication for the data broadcast part is made through an operation unit 13, the data and time information corresponding to the television program being viewed or the video-recorded program is superposed on the video data to output the video. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
