PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use state of an object such as a seat and a parking lot, which occupies a place for a certain period of time.

SOLUTION: An information processing server 200 to be used for a retrieval system for enabling a user to retrieve occupation information from a terminal showing the existence of a detection target resulting from the detection by an occupation state detection apparatus installed in each occupation area comprises: an occupation information database in which the detection apparatus identification information of the occupation state detection apparatus, the occupation information of an area in which the occupation state detection apparatus is installed and the area identification information of the area are associatively stored; an information registration part 12 for registering the occupation information input from the occupation state detection apparatus in the occupation information database according to the detection apparatus identification information of the occupation state detection apparatus; and an information retrieval part 22 for retrieving the occupation information database on the basis of the area identification information input from the user terminal and transmitting the retrieved result to the user terminal.
