<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency induction hardening apparatus with which in spite of being a simple constitution unnecessary to high performance of a workpiece shifting mechanism, the inner peripheral surface of a member (bottomed cup-like body or non-bottomed cylindrical body) having uneven thickness part can be induction-hardened under ideal non-oxygen state. <P>SOLUTION: This high frequency induction hardening apparatus is provided with; a workpiece holding tool 13 for holding the bottomed cup-like body or non-bottomed cylindrical body closed with cover-like tool to one end part of the opening hole to a prescribed position; a high frequency induction coil 14 for induction-heating while correspondingly setting the inner peripheral surface of the bottomed cup-like body or the inner peripheral surface of the non-bottomed cylindrical body; a gas-introducing pipe 15 for introducing inert gas or reducing gas, or mixed gas of the inert gas and the reducing gas to the bottom part of the bottomed cup-like body or the cover-like tool at the one end part of the non-bottomed cylindrical body; a housing 16 set corresponding to the opening port of the bottomed cup-like body or the non-bottomed cylindrical body held with the workpiece holding tool 13; a gas exhausting pipe 17 for exhausting the gas filled up in the housing 16 to the outer part of the housing 16; and a cooling liquid spouting tube 18 for spouting the cooling liquid to the heated part of the bottomed cup-like body or the non-bottomed cylindrical body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
