PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens peripheral edge machining device which sets proper machining, by confirming a machining state of an edge side surface such as facet machining. SOLUTION: The device performs facet machining on an edge corner part, by arithmetically operating machining data on the basis of setting data on a globe type shape, an edge position and a facet machining area, and has: an inclination input means of a lens refracting interface, a means for arithmetically operating a facet machining locus on an edge on the basis of machining setting data, inclination data of the refracting interface and an inclination of a machining surface of a facet machining tool; a means for displaying a globe type front figure and a figure of viewing a lens after finishing machining from a side surface by a display means on the basis of globe type shape data and edge position data and displaying the facet machining locus on the lens edge provided by an arithmetic operation means on an edge side surface figure; a means for optionally designating the observation direction of a lens on the edge side surface figure; and a display changing means for changing display of the edge side surface figure and the facet machining locus to an observation state corresponding to the designated direction.
