PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion of an intrinsically conductive polymer in an organic solvent which is used in various applications such as an electrode material, an antistatic agent, an ultraviolet ray absorbing agent, a heat ray absorbing agent, an electromagnetic wave absorbing agent, a sensor, an electrolyte for an electrolytic capacitor, and an electrode for a secondary cell. SOLUTION: The dispersion of the intrinsically conductive polymer in an organic solvent is provided. The organic solvent contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, and ketones, and has water content of not more than 1%.
