AN PURIFYING APPARATUS USING CENTRIFUGATION FOR DREDGED SEDIMENT

An apparatus for purifying dredged sediment is provided to purify promptly matters containing external particles and organic substances, which are included in the sediment, in real-time. A suction pump(31) is installed on a dredger to suck sediment deposited on the bottom of the sea. A continuous type centrifuge(38) purifies floating matters included in the sucked sediment using centrifugation. An electrical reactor(40) decomposes and coagulates the purified floating matters through electrolysis. A sediment storing tank(36) stores the sediment sucked by the suction pump before inputting the sucked sediment into the continuous type centrifuge.
