An electron emission display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce power consumption by limiting amounts of a current flowed in a pixel unit. An electron emission display device includes a pixel unit(100), a variable clock unit, a data driver(300), a scan driver(400) and a voltage regulating unit(200). The pixel unit includes anode electrodes, which emit electrons in response to voltage supplied to first and second electrodes, and form high voltage so as to collide the emitted electron. The variable clock unit varies a width of a clock pulse in response to a grayness of an image signal. The data driver generates a data signal by using the image signal and delivers the generated data signal to the first electrodes. The scan driver generates a scan signal and delivers the generated scan signal to the second electrodes. The voltage regulating unit adjusts the voltage of the second electrodes based on the image signal, which is inputted during a frame period, while adjusting the voltage of the first and second electrodes.
