<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of audio-visual communication using a television set and a television using the same which aims at enabling users to enjoy network visual and voice communication service via a network using a broadband network and television technologies. <P>SOLUTION: The method is characterized by including steps of: receiving incoming call signals from remote users 101-103; automatically turning on a television 110 according to auto wakeup setting in response to the incoming call signals so as to simultaneously display a TV image and incoming call information, and conducting communication in response to the incoming call information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
