<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor allowing attaching/detaching of one cover body without affecting the other cover body, even if removing one of cover bodies constituting starboard side and port side, easy disassembling and reassembling works, and the easy disassembling and reassembling without being hindered by a sub exhaust port and a water check port. <P>SOLUTION: In this outboard motor, a lower half part of an engine room 2i for storing an engine 5 is constituted of a cover assembling body 20 including the right and left resin cover bodies 21 and 25 constituting the starboard side and port side, brackets 30 are fixed to a latter half part of the engine 5 or an engine supporting structural body, and each of the latter half parts of the right and left cover bodies 21 and 25 is fixed to each of the brackets 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
