The device has a resistance device (1) comprising a contact unit (2) with a hole (5). A printed circuit board (7) is provided with a connector for connecting the resistance device. A connecting unit (6) is provided for electrically connecting the contact unit with the connector of the board, where a press fit is provided between the connecting unit and the hole of the contact unit. The connecting unit has a large periphery at the end facing the contact unit than at an end facing the board. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a power measuring device.
