PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an ink-jet recording head, which contributes to improved nozzle density and good ink ejection. SOLUTION: The method of producing the ink-jet recording head includes the step of forming a resin layer 8 on a substrate 1 as a mold taking up an area forming a plurality of ink channels, by exposing and developing a photosensitive resin. The method further includes the step of forming a nozzle layer 9 on the substrate 1 and the resin layer 8, as a nozzle forming member, the step of forming a plurality of ink ejection ports 11 communicating with the respective ink channels in the nozzle layer 9, and the step of removing the resin layer 8. Further the method includes the step of forming a gold-plated layer 12 as a reflection improving layer for reflecting exposed light at the time of exposure of the resin layer 8, on a lower side of a nozzle wall forming a partition member that partitions the plurality of ink channels in the nozzle layer 9, from each other.
