LED HAVING VERTICAL STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME

A vertical type LED and a method for making the same are provided to improve the performance of an optical device and a photoelectric device by using a conductive layer with high conductivity. A first conductive layer(200) is positioned on an upper surface of a first electrode. An active layer(300) is positioned on an upper surface of the first conductive layer. A second conductive semiconductor layer(400) is positioned on an upper surface of the active layer. The second conductive layer includes at least one semiconductor layer and at least one conductive semiconductor layer(230). A second electrode is positioned on an upper surface of the second conductive layer. The semiconductor layer and the conductive semiconductor layer are stacked alternately on at least a part of the second conductive layer.
