An automatic accident informing system for a vehicle is provided to prevent system down prior to the operation of a sub battery when a main battery is broken upon operation of an air bag. An automatic accident informing system for a vehicle, includes a central controller(60), a vehicle battery(10), a sub battery(20), an air bag controller(30), and an electromagnet switch(MS). The central controller is driven by input static voltage, and manages information including the position of the vehicle in a real time basis. The vehicle battery supplies power to electrical components of the vehicle. The sub battery supplies power to the central controller when power of the vehicle battery is cut off upon occurrence of accident. The air bag controller operates an air bag when accident or vehicle crash is sensed. The electromagnet switch has movable iron pieces which slide along a core and form a contact in accordance with a vehicle crash sensing signal output from the air bag controller. The electromagnet switch transmits power of the sub battery to the central controller when the contact is formed, recognizes the vehicle crash sensing signal from the signals output from the air bag controller, and retains the contact formed by the movable iron pieces such that power of the sub battery is continuously supplied to a digital device in accordance with the vehicle crash sensing signal.
