System for centralised management of auxiliary equipment on board commercial, crash-rescue or emergency vehicles

The system has a CanRis(RTM: Not defined) type centralized control console connected to a hand held personal computer e.g. personal digital assistant (PDA) (4), that includes a graphics screen. A ConsoleExpress(RTM: color graphics editor) configures the screen and is loaded in the PDA, so that a block diagram of a vehicle e.g. crash rescue vehicle, indicating a location of an electrical apparatus (3) e.g. siren, control buttons and lamps is displayed and configured by a user on the graphics screen in an autonomous manner. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for configuring and implementing a system for management of electrical functions in a vehicle (2) a computer program comprising a program code to perform a method for configuring and implementing a system for management of electrical functions in a vehicle.
