摘要 <p>The device (30) for temperature modification of one-dimensional, flexible material strands (10) such as filaments or cords that traverse through the device at a high speed (11), comprises a structurally unstable roller, e.g. a belt that rotates around guidance rollers, which is used as a solid body, roller or as hollow roller, and an outer housing, which is designed in such a manner that the liquid flow produces a minimal negative pressure with respect to the surroundings at the inner mouth of the feed slot of the material strand. The device (30) for temperature modification of one-dimensional, flexible material strands (10) such as filaments or cords that traverse through the device at a high speed (11), comprises a structurally unstable roller, e.g. a belt that rotates around guidance rollers, which is used as a solid body, roller or as hollow roller, and an outer housing, which is designed in such a manner that the liquid flow produces a minimal negative pressure with respect to the surroundings at the inner mouth of the feed slot of the material strand. The material strand is led in contact with a surface of the structurally-unstable roller and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the roller. The feed slot for the material strand in a housing of the device has a maximum possible flow resistance for the fluid transverse to the direction of guidance of the strand and along the complete length of the housing by dimensioning the housing with respect to its width and its depth. A liquid (70) is flowed against the material strand transverse to the direction of its passage within the device and along the complete length of the housing. The liquid flow takes place largely uniformly with respect to the angle of incidence of the transverse flow and the flow velocity of the liquid stream, irrespective of the length of the device. The flow velocity of the liquid is similar to the material strand in a comparable magnitude (within a factor 10+>>->2>). In the vicinity of the material strand, the liquid flow forms two-dimensional surface (liquid film of the liquid stream) with surface vectors that are parallel and orthogonal to the material strand. The third dimension of the liquid film, namely the film thickness extends orthogonally to the direction of passage of the strand up to the extent of the dimension of the material strand, which traverses in the flowing liquid surface at the centre of the third dimension of the liquid surface. The liquid flow surface is a narrow strip-like section (44) of a liquid flow surface that has a shape as if it is curved around a lateral surface of a cylinder. The strip alignment is parallel to the cylinder axis. The liquid flow along the periphery of the cylinder rotates along a portion of the periphery of the cylinder. The liquid flow with a lateral surface adheres to a solid body, e.g. at the outside or the inside of a hollow cylinder, whose surface moves largely at the same speed. The solid body has the shape of a roller. The material strand runs once or a few times around the roller, and is led adjoining to the inner surface of a roller-shaped hollow cylinder and the outer surface of the roller. The material strand runs with a slight deflection adjoining to the surface of the roller along the direction of rotation of the roller. The material strand is led through the roll gap between two parallel and adjacent rollers along the outer surface of an inner roller and the inner surface of an outer concentric roller. The inner and outer rollers have opposite directions of rotation. The roller is completely surrounded by the liquid, or dips into the liquid only with its lower part. The roller is sprayed with the liquid, or the liquid is metered on to the surface of the roller. The liquid and the rollers are subjected to temperature treatment. The liquid stream is removed from the roller surface after flowing around the material strand by means of e.g. a raking blade. The rolling surface is loaded or loads itself once again with the liquid finally before reaching the material strand. The deviation of the material strand from the extended normal course that is parallel to the axis is used for the immersion of the material strand in a liquid or for measurement purposes.</p>
