<p>The furniture leg (1) comprises an inner tube (2) with lower and upper ends and an outer tube (3) which can be engaged longitudinally over the inner tube. The outer tube has upper and lower ends, the latter being engageable between the inner tube lower end and the inner tube upper end. An adjustment body (8) extends between the inner tube and outer tube. A first adjustment body end is rotatably fixed at the outer tube upper end. A second adjustment body end is provided with a connector (10) which locates displaceably against an inner wall of the inner tube and on its outer side is provided with a spirally surrounding connection (9) between the first and second outer ends. A screw connection (13) at the inner tube upper end is connected with the inner tube interior and is provided with connecting parts which extend towards the adjustment body and work in conjunction with the spirally surrounding connector to reverse the rotation of the adjustment body around its longitudinal axis, causing it to displace in a longitudinal direction. A drive device (14) is operationally connected with the adjustment body, causing it to rotate around its longitudinal axis to alter the length of the furniture leg.</p> |
