A plasma display panel is provided to reduce a difference of luminance between a center portion and a boundary portion by making a line width of a barrier rib formed in the boundary portion larger than that of a barrier rib formed in the center portion. A first substrate(10) and a second substrate(20) are disposed opposite to each other, and barrier ribs are interposed between the substrates. Each substrate has a center portion formed around a center of an opposite plane and a boundary portion formed around the center portion. Each barrier rib has a first line width between pixels formed in the center portion and a second line width between pixels formed in the boundary portion, in which the first line width is different from the second line width.
