A method for processing error of an administrator in an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) and an ATM using the same are provided to display an alarm message to an administrator when an operational error occurs in an ATM by the administrator to effectively cope with the error of the automated teller machine. A method for processing error of an administrator in an ATM includes an administrator error determining unit(310) determining whether or not an operational error of an automated teller machine is generated by the administrator. An error process controlling unit(320) displays an alarm message on a monitor of the ATM and controls the ATM when the operational error of the administrator is determined in the administrator error determining unit.
