An apparatus for manufacturing a rechargeable battery pack is provided to prevent the probability of a high current flowing through a protection circuit board when electrical welding is accomplished on connection terminals of a protection circuit module with bare cells. An apparatus for manufacturing a rechargeable battery pack electrically welds conductive wires(231-234) connected with bare cells(205) onto terminals(251-254) of a protection circuit board(250). A bypass line(320) having a diode device(325) is installed on a jig(310) in contact with at least a part of the protection circuit board upon electrical welding, wherein the diode device is configured to make an electric current flow when being supplied with a predetermine amount of reverse voltage. |
