METALLIC PATTERN UNIT OF WARM HYDRO-FORMING SYSTEM

A mold unit for a warm hydro-forming system is provided to heat a tube workpiece and an operating fluid such that a tube expanding process is performed on the tube workpiece by securing formability of the tube workpiece at a warm condition by using elongation characteristics of an aluminum alloy tube workpiece according to temperature. A mold unit for a warm hydro-forming system comprises: a upper mold insulating case(13) inserted into the insert groove by forming an insert groove(G) in a longitudinal center on a section of an upper mold(3) correspondingly to a lower mold(1); an upper mold insert die(15) which is inserted into the upper mold insulating case, which has an upper forming face(17) formed on one face thereof, and in which a plurality of through holes are longitudinally formed in a periphery of the upper forming face; a lower mold insulating case(21) inserted into the insert groove by forming an insert groove(G) in a longitudinal center on a section of the lower mold correspondingly to the upper mold; a lower mold insert die(23) which is inserted into the lower mold insulating case, which has a lower forming face(25) formed on one face thereof, and in which a plurality of through holes are longitudinally formed in a periphery of the lower forming face; and a plurality of heating rods(11) which are formed in a rod shape and inserted into the respective through holes of the upper and lower mold insert dies by passing through the upper and lower mold insulating cases respectively from each one side portion of the upper and lower molds.
