Method for loading several same collection cars (1) that are coupled to one freight train (15) and each of which has bottom conveyor belt (6) and transfer conveyor belt (10) that is elevated, is performed automatically. That for speed of bottom conveyor belt (6) is controlled depending on amount of bulk material (16) poured, this is determined as result of measurement, in such way that collection car (1) that is under a loading mode (S) is filled with maximal height of loading (hmax). After first conical material (16) pile (18) reaches a forward end position (E), in the last - if one looks in conveying direction (8) - collection car (1) near which there is transfer conveyor belt (10) automated reducing of conveying speed of connected to it bottom conveyor belt (6) takes place and transition from a pass operation mode (D) to the loading mode (S).
