A drawer type safe for furniture and a control method of the drawer type safe for furniture are provided to keep a safe concealed by coupling with various furniture, to increase durability of a safe and to operate a safe more effectively, and to protect a safe against burglars and to heighten the efficiency of criminal arrest by connecting closely with a home automation device. A drawer type safe for furniture is formed by installing a body(17) to the inside of furniture, and installing a locking portion(20) composed of a support rail, a slide member and a bracket rail, or, installing a body locking portion composed of a slide member and a bracket rail to the inside of the body, wherein a drawer(10) is installed to the inside of the body to be opened and closed along rails(15) and attached with a battery housing unit(11) and an operation unit(12) at the front and a control unit(13) controlling the entire operation of the drawer type safe and a drawer locking portion or a locking pin(14) at the rear. A control method of the drawer type safe for furniture comprises the steps of supplying power to a drawer type safe from a battery or a power source and operating together with a home automation device, generating alarm sound and photographing the circumference of the drawer type safe with a camera if the operation unit is pressed wrongly more than three times or an impact occurs to damage the safe, and informing conditions to a portable device or a nearby police station via a network.
