The lock has a case (101) including upper and lower ends provided with respective bolts operated using a handle. The handle has a squared rod engaged in a squared housing (109) of a follower (108). The housing is pivoted with respect to a horizontal direction (HH) of the lock from a fraction of an actuating angle (alpha) of the handle such that the angle is astride the horizontal direction.
