摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful method for producing a steel material for obtaining a steel wire material reducing hard non-rollable inclusion and enhansing drawability into the wire and fatigue characteristic by suitably controlling the condition in a secondary refining and the producing condition in a converter. <P>SOLUTION: Main raw materials for charging into the converter are processed to form molten iron, cold iron and steel scrap. Also, as the ratio to the whole charged raw materials, 96-100 mass% molten iron,≤4 mass% (containing 0%) cold iron and≤2 mass% (containing 0%) steel scrap, are charged while regulating≤0.02 mass% average P concentration in the whole raw materials. Then, after completing the blowing in the converter, the secondary refining is conducted while regulating the flowing rate of the molten steel stirring gas to 0.0005-0.004 Nm<SP>3</SP>/min per ton of molten steel, and subsequently, a continuous casting is conducted while regulating Ar flowing rate supplied for purging into a tundish to 0.04-0.10 Nm<SP>3</SP>/min per ton of the molten steel in the tundish. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
