PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle provided with a travel control means for controlling the travel of the own vehicle from the relative positional relationship between driver's own vehicle and an object ahead of his/her own vehicle, the travel control means which can ensure travel in a safe manner when the impact which causes a change in detection range is applied to a sensor for recognizing the object ahead of his/her own vehicle. SOLUTION: After the completion of automatic braking control for automatically conducting braking control of his/her own vehicle from the result of judgment of an impact avoidance judgment means, operating conditions are changed since the impact avoidance judgment means judges that collision can not be avoided, so that automatic braking control by the automatic braking control means or the travel control by the travel control means is less likely to operate.
