<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic setting system and a method of a network parameter. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic setting system of the network parameter is provided with a detection module, a packet determination module, a transmission module, and a parameter setting module. The detection module is used for detecting a packet from a user terminal in a port. The packet determination module is used for determining the type of the packet from the user terminal. The transmission module transmits a corresponding response packet to the user terminal depending on the type of the packet from the user terminal.
