<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine having an image display device capable of improving a visual taste in symbol variation. <P>SOLUTION: When executing a radar ready-to-win (ready-to-win 3) condition, a special variable display device sequentially rewrites symbols by displaying next-order symbols in a rotating area of a boundary line 54 using the central part of the presently displayed symbols as a rotation center. That is to say, this pinball game machine varies symbols by gradually reducing the display ratio of the symbols displayed at present with their display positions retained without scrolling the symbols while gradually increasing the display ratio of the next-order symbols.
