PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning device which can suppress damage to a wiring part, and of which size can be reduced. SOLUTION: The turning device has a storage member 12 in which a motor, etc. are stored. This storage member 12 is fixed on a base member 6 in such a manner that a rotating member 11 overlays the storage member. The storage member 12 includes a projection part 12e, and is fitted with a lid 13 that covers its upper part. The lid 13 includes a boss part 13b for controlling the turning range of the turning member 11, and a cut portion 13c that engages with the projection 12e of the storage member 12 is provided to the lateral side of the boss part 13b. The lid 13 is positioned by the engagement of the projection 12e and the cut portion 13c. A second cut portion 132c for taking out a wiring part 16 connected to the motor 14 from the storage part 12a is provided to the cut part 13c of the boss part 13b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
