PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the resin adhesion of a cap made of aluminum subjected to extremely severe working and requiring retort resistance as well. SOLUTION: A sheet is subjected to chemical conversion base treatment, and is thereafter subjected to finish cleaning using water in which the content of fatty acid and/or fatty acid salt is≤50 ppm, and also, the total organic carbon content (TOC) is≤100 ppm. Next, the coating weight of a water film in the surface of the sheet is reduced to≤200 g/m<SP>2</SP>, successively, warm air heated at 50 to 150°C is blown on the surface of the sheet surface at a wind speed of 5 to 25 m/s for 1 to 10 s, so as to dry the same, further, provided that the temperature of the aluminum sheet is defined as A and the atmospheric temperature around the aluminum sheet is defined as B, in a meanwhile from the completion of the drying to the provision of the resin, A≥B is always hold, thus the adsorption amount of the moisture in the surface of the base treatment film is controlled to≤100 mg/m<SP>2</SP>, the adsorption amount of the fatty acid and/or fatty acid salt is controlled to≤10 mg/m<SP>2</SP>, and the total organic carbon content (TOC) in the surface of the base treatment film is controlled to≤20 mg/m<SP>2</SP>.
