A drawer latch includes a controller mounted on an outer side of the drawer. A lever is pivotally mounted on an inner side of a cabinet, which contains the drawer, for selectively engaged to the controller. The lever automatically engaged to the controller to prevent the drawer from an accidentally operated when the drawer is closed.
