<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel capable of stably supporting an airbag by suppressing a downward movement amount of a ring part when a ring surface is laid in an approximately vertical direction. <P>SOLUTION: The steering wheel W1 is provided with a steering wheel body 1; and an airbag device M at an upper part of a boss part B. The steering wheel body 1 is constituted in the two-divided form by a shaft side part 15 at a side fastened to a steering shaft SS and a ring side part 21 at a ring part R side. The ring side part 21 is rotatably supported on the shaft side part 15 such that the ring surface RP is laid in the approximately vertical direction. An actuator 26 for rotating/moving the ring side part 21 such that the ring surface RP is laid in the approximately vertical direction is arranged on the boss part B. The actuator 26 completes operation such that the ring surface RP is laid in the approximately vertical direction until a forwardly moved driver is abutted on the airbag 40 completed with inflation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
