COLORED COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colored composition for color filters capable of forming a film having uniform film thickness.

SOLUTION: The colored composition for color filters comprises a dye carrier comprising a transparent resin, a precursor thereof or a mixture of those, a dye and an organic solvent and has a yield value in a range of 0-0.3 mP s. There are also provided a color filter with filter segments formed using the colored composition for color filters and a method for manufacturing such a color filter including applying the colored composition for color filters on a substrate by a spin coat method or a die coat method to form filter segments.
