PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a diversity reception apparatus capable of performing diversity synthesis about a plurality of reception branches by an ideal timing. SOLUTION: The diversity reception apparatus according to the present invention comprises, for example, BTR units (6-1 to 6-P) for each detecting a synchronization timing based on correlated electric power to be acquired by performing correlated calculation between electric power of a reception signal and a sampling clock which performs X times sampling about the reception signal in every reception branch unit, a synthesis BTR unit (7) for detecting a synthesis synchronization timing based on relative electric power for the reception branch to be acquired by the correlated calculation between electric power of a reception signal and a sampling clock which performs X times sampling about the reception signal, a timing error correcting unit (8) for correcting a shift of the synchronization timing of each reception branch based on the synthesis synchronization timing, and symbol data extracting units (9-1 to 9-P) for each extracting the symbol data from the reception signal of each reception branch based on the synchronization timing after being corrected.
