PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in cost or degradation in mounting property as far as possible, even if a mechanism making exhaust gas properly bypass an EGR cooler of a V-type engine. SOLUTION: In a selector valve 18, flows of exhaust gas 6 respectively guided from exhaust systems of right and left cylinder rows 2 are switched between a flow via the EGR cooler 16 and a flow bypassing the EGR cooler. A pair of cool gas ports 25 feeding the exhaust gas 6 via the EGR cooler 16 toward an intake system of each cylinder row 2, and a pair of hot gas ports 26 feeding the exhaust gas 6 bypassing the EGR cooler 16 toward the intake system of each cylinder row 2, are disposed to be in a line. A shaft 27 passing through them in a direction of their arrangement is rotatably disposed. Valve elements 28 are installed to the shaft 27 so that each port 25 and each port 26 are alternatively closed, and the shaft 27 is rotary-driven by a single actuator 29. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
