PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically peel a release tape from an adhesive tape with the release tape and sticking the adhesive tape to a battery module etc. SOLUTION: The adhesive insulating tape T with the release tape supplied from an uncoiler 10 is held in a carrier plate 12 in the folded state. The carrier plate 12 reciprocates in the arrow 100 direction between a first position and a second position. When the carrier plate 12 is moved from the first position to the second position, a tape holding unit 14 sucks and holds the tape T. Then, by movement of the carrier plate 12 from the second position to the first position, the release tape is peeled from the adhesive insulating tape T with the release tape so as to expose the adhesive face of the adhesive tape T.
