PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device capable of easily ensuring connection between a connecting terminal and an external electrode and accurately configuring the external electrode, even if an IC component, such as an IC chip, becomes large relative to the size of a piezoelectric element package, in a small-sized piezoelectric device. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device comprises a crystal vibrator package 18 housing a crystal vibrating chip 12 and including connecting terminals 17, 25 on a side face and a bottom face; an IC chip 20 connected to the connecting terminal 25 on the bottom face of the crystal vibrator package 18; an insulated resin part 22 covering the IC chip 20 and having an approximately parallelepiped outer shape; and an external electrode 26 formed on a bottom face of the resin part 22, wherein the connecting terminal 17 formed on the side face of the crystal vibrator package 18 and the external electrode 26 in the resin part 22 are connected, by connecting electrodes 27 formed on the side face of the crystal vibrator package 18 and on a side face of the resin part 22.
