PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable organometallic composition having small volume contraction and giving a cured product having a high refractive index and excellent heat resistance, an organometallic material prepared by curing the composition and optical components using the same. SOLUTION: The curable organometallic composition comprises an organometallic polymer having -M-O-M- bonds (M denotes a metal atom) and aryl groups, and a fluorene-based compound having an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group.
