PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food sweeper designed so as to detect mixed filaments via a physical means even in case that the filaments for sweeping are dropped and mixed into food. SOLUTION: The food sweeper has the following structure: a sweeper 1(A) for sweeping and moving food comprises a sweeping head 2 comprising a lot of synthetic resin filaments, and a handle 3 attached to the head 2, wherein the filaments 5 is formed so that a conductive detected body is supported by a linear base material made of synthetic resin to enable detection of the filament pieces fallen from the head 2 and mixed in the food via an electric or magnetic detection means.
