An infrared sensor is provided to highly accurately correct an electronic signal converted in a light receiving unit. A infrared sensor (100) for converting infrared energy irradiated from an object (e.g., a human body) to an electronic signal is provided with a quantum type infrared detecting element (11), a light receiving unit (10) for converting the infrared energy to an electric signal, a correcting unit (20) for correcting an output signal from the light receiving unit (10), wherein the light receiving (10) and the correcting unit (20) are formed on the same substrate (1), made of the same material and have the same structure on which the infrared ray is incident in the same way.
