In this invention, the data are integrated into a square wave of frequency F which includes high (14) and low (15) crenellation, modulated by binary transitions (16, 17) which are representative of the data and then transmitted at a defined binary rate. According to this method, the signal received is sampled at a certain frequency Fe which is a multiple of the frequency F and a series of samples (x) in each crenellation (14,15) received is obtained. The following samples (x) are counted for each respective level, and a number of samples are obtained, (i). The number of samples (i) is compared to a defined transition threshold (S1) and if it is below the threshold, the presence of a transition in the crenellation can be deduced to help determine the binary value of the data represented by the transition. The invention is well suited for automated toll collection for vehicles.
|
