摘要 <p>A hermetic compressor for enhancing productivity and wear-resistance of sliding elements via improved surface treatment and achieving efficient lubrication and cooling of sliding elements even by a low-viscosity refrigerating machine oil. The hermetic compressor includes a thin porous Fe&lt;SUB&gt;3&lt;/SUB&gt;O&lt;SUB&gt;4&lt;/SUB&gt; film formed on a surface of each sliding element, onto which refrigerating machine oil is supplied, the Fe&lt;SUB&gt;3&lt;/SUB&gt;O&lt;SUB&gt;4&lt;/SUB&gt; film being formed via a steam homo treatment and has a high hardness and superior surface roughness. The Fe&lt;SUB&gt;3&lt;/SUB&gt;O&lt;SUB&gt;4&lt;/SUB&gt; film, having superior surface roughness, has no need for a brushing process and can achieve improved productivity of the sliding element and prevent deterioration in the wear-resistance of the sliding element due to the loss of the Fe&lt;SUB&gt;3&lt;/SUB&gt;O&lt;SUB&gt;4&lt;/SUB&gt; film. Also, the porous Fe&lt;SUB&gt;3&lt;/SUB&gt;O&lt;SUB&gt;4&lt;/SUB&gt; film can efficiently capture and keep the oil therein and has a low frictional coefficient, thus achieving higher lubrication and cooling of the sliding element than the prior art.</p>
