<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual three dimensional sound image formation apparatus based on new conception which positively uses a sound for the development of a game. <P>SOLUTION: The virtual three dimensional sound image formation apparatus comprises an object information storage means 202 which memorizes physical information on a virtual object arranged in a virtual three-dimensional space and information on the material of the virtual object, an operating means 2 for controlling movement of a character and a sound marker within the virtual space for executing the emission direction of a sound source object of the character and sound emission control of the sound source object and the sound marker, a sound source storage means 203 which memorizes information about each sound source, two or more sound conversion means 204 which convert an acoustic signal into an audible sound, and a sound image processing means 205 which gives to the sound conversion means after variable controlling the sound information on the sound source object and the sound marker according to the location of the virtual space of the sound source object and the sound marker, information on the virtual object within the virtual three-dimensional space, and information about the material of the virtual object and forming an audible acoustic signal in the predetermined location and direction within the three-dimensional space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
