<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing antireflection film capable of manufacturing an antireflection film which has few appearance faults and is excellent in scratch resistance with excellent productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A micro gravure roller 14a is brought into contact with the surface of a base film 11 provided with an optical functional layer on a transparent support and a coating solution containing a curable resin, an additive, etc. is transferred to the surface of the base film. The coating solution is made to be liquid having a refractive index lower than that of the layer. Drying of a coating layer is facilitated by a dryer 16 and, thereafter, the coating layer is dried and, at the same time, is thermally cured by a heater 18 having a front chamber 18a and a rear chamber 18b which is adjusted to a temperature higher than that of the front chamber 18a. Thereafter, the surface of the coating layer is irradiated with ultraviolet rays by an ultraviolet ray lamp 21. As the result, heat shrinkage, elution of the additive are suppressed, the drying is facilitated and the coating layer which is sufficiently hardened can be obtained and, therefore, the anti-reflection film 20 which has few appearance faults and is excellent in scratch resistance can be manufactured with excellent productivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
