摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique quickly accelerating a vehicle while suppressing emission of NO<SB>x</SB>just after transition from the deceleration or fuel cut to the acceleration, in an exhaust recirculation device for an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust recirculation device includes a variable displacement turbocharger having a turbine at an exhaust passage and a compressor at an intake passage and adjusts a passage cross-sectional area of exhaust by opening of nozzle vanes, comprises: a low-pressure EGR passage connecting the exhaust passage downstream of the turbine with an intake passage upstream of the compressor to recirculate part of exhaust from the internal combustion engine into the intake passage; EGR means S102, S104 during deceleration making EGR gas flow in the low-pressure EGR passage during the deceleration of the vehicle or the fuel cut of the internal combustion engine; and a supercharging means S105 adjusting the opening of the nozzle vanes to make pressure in the intake passage reach target pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
