HYDROCRACKING CATALYST AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FUEL BASE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrocracking catalyst for paraffin type hydrocarbons having high activity, high intermediate fraction-gaining ratio, and capable of giving a low fluid point to the fuel base material (the intermediate fraction). SOLUTION: The catalyst contains USY zeolite obtained using NaY having a peak intensity appearing in (111) plane not higher than 30 in X-ray diffraction and a noble metal of Group VIII in the periodic table.
