PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fundamentally solve problems such as prevention of entanglement of a fishhook to a net by deficiency of stiffness of a net material of a small-sized net for sweetfish fishing, etc., weakening of caught fishes by damage of the fishes caused by rubbing to the net, poor endurance of the net and troublesome production and remarkable increase in cost because of difficulties of automatic knitting of net using conventional monofilament. SOLUTION: A spoon net is obtained by producing a strong and inexpensive core net by adoption of automatic knitting, etc., using a yarn such as multifilament and then adopting a means for coating the surface of the core net with a flexible resin, a flexible rubber, etc., to form a flexible layer.
