PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fan noise and engine starting time torque accompanied by drag of a cooling fan during starting of an engine in a hybrid vehicle wherein engine stop or start is performed regardless of intention of a driver. SOLUTION: When a fan/coupling of the vehicle is in a torque transmission state of a prescribed value or more and engine stop is estimated, it is controlled so that operating oil in a torque transmission gap is extracted in advance before stopping of the engine, and the engine is stopped after the power transmission state of the coupling is turned to be Low (or Off), and thereby, rise of a fan revolution number is restrained in drag of the fan in next starting of the engine.
