DISPLAY CONTROLLING AND MONITORING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of a maintanance and checking and to prevent the display continuation of information till now while turning off all light emitting elements when a fault in display processing means is generated by isolating and discriminating easily and at early stage display processing means in which a fault is generated. CONSTITUTION:An MPU 32 identifies two channels (monitor starting control data) of a mode-data transmitted from a main control device to a display unit with a TDMA processing and sends out display data and a clock signal generated by a timming generator 35 to a shift register 22 and discriminates a operating state by comparing the display data with a returned display data and transmits a returning data signal in which display fault information and a self-address are added based on next three channels (monitor content transmitting control data) to the main control device and then the main control device isolates the generation of a fault in display parts 15a to 15n based on the address and specifies the display part. Further, when the MPU 32 identifies the display fault, all of light emitting elements in an LED part 30 are turned off through a one-shot multivibrator driving circuit 23.
