PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accessory for an external facing panel, which can be easily inserted and stably held, even if there is a variation in the thickness of the external facing panel. SOLUTION: The accessory 21 for the external facing panel, which has a symmetrical cross-sectional shape, comprises a pair of storage parts 25 for housing each end 23a of the external facing panel 23, and a pair of cover materials 33 for covering the storage part 25. The storage part 25 is formed of an inside material 26 which is mounted on an exterior wall body 22, an outside material 27 which is isolated in parallel from the inside material 26, and a connecting material 28 for connecting one end 26a of the inside material 26 and one end 27a of the outside material 27 to each other at a right angle. A second inside material 29, which continues into the other end 26b of the inside material 26 and is folded back in parallel with the inside material 26, a diagonal member 30, which is inclined to the inside of the storage part 25 from a leading end 29a of the second inside material 29, and a third inside material 31, parallel to the second inside material 29 from a leading end 30a of the diagonal member 30, are elongated.
